They pretend to be a real debt collection company trying to say I owe them money. They said it was to Capital One which I did not owe money to. They never send anything in the mail, they call every day, they aren't a real debt collector because if they were you'd get both regular and certified mail.

I was called and asked if I was my brother or someone who knew him. I said I was someone who knew him and they said they have attempted multiple times to send him letters regarding a legal issue. They only had my phone number but his name and address. Once we spoke to someone they gave us a website to go to to verify information. The website showed a debt to providian. Absolute total scam we believe.
