I was contacted via phone call to put down a deposit for a upcoming appointment and I was scheduled for the appointment for when I came back in town then when I got in town I was told you're appointment is booked and I got you on braids , this lady she then told me she could pick me up if I gave her gas money the Friday she was supposed to do appointment . She gave me run around for hours after telling me she was 10 min away and then when I heard from her she said she had a emergency randomly I gave her grace , and

I was very understanding and flexible she then said we'd reschedule the appointment so then I do for that Monday she does it again and will not refund me my payment after saying she would send me my money back but never have and then she said both time she can refund me I sent her request for refund but have yet to get it . And she was very nasty and rude I let her know that I understand things happen because the second time which was Monday she claimed she had to do something but didn't let me know until the last min at 9:17 am . I was asleep woke up and she caught a attitude because I was checking to see her estimated arrival both times I even offered to meet at her place where she conducts her business and she left me on delivered and has yet to give me a response or refund but I have our messages stating she would do my hair and that hasn't happened and I've asked for refund multiple times and was told to me why am i texting her at 7am when she told me she give me a refund.

I paid for a hair service to get some knotless braids on November 20, 2024 and my appointment date was scheduled for December 29th at 9 am. On December 27th, at 11am I received a reminder text message from Styleseat about my appointment. At 3:00 pm I then received another text message from styleseat saying my new appointment date is December 30th at 9 am.

I reached out to the hair stylist inquiring about this second text message and she stated the appointment that I scheduled over a month ago was an error and Monday is when she’s available. I informed her that Monday doesn’t work for me, how can she just change my appointment dates without a conversation and I asked to be refunded back my money? She stated that “she wouldn’t be refunding me my money, good luck with trying to get it back and to enjoy my day.”

I didn’t report her to Styleseat regarding this matter. However, as of yet I have not received a response back from them.

this hairstylist from Philly scam me for $40 my deposit I was supposed to get my hair done yesterday around 3 she ain’t show up and I see she blocked me on my personal plus my other account so I dm her on my spam asking what the issue She block me and did not come so my hair

On 11/14, I had a hair appointment scheduled and paid a $122.50 deposit. 2 hours before my appointment, the stylist canceled. She did try to reschedule me for 11/15 however, I couldn’t reschedule as November 14 was my only available day.

When I attempted to reschedule, I received no response. I then followed up asking for a refund of my deposit (since she canceled on me & couldn’t provide the service on the agreed date), and she immediately refused, saying she only offers rescheduling and no refunds.

She then ghosted me when I attempted to find a solution to the situation. On November 28th, my mother reached out to the stylist. The stylist confirmed with her that I would receive my $122.50 deposit back within 7-10 days of November 28.

As of December 17, 2024 - the stylist has not refunded my deposit.

The scammer is a non-licensed nail tech, booking site says she’s in Largo. However, she’s changed her location today to say Baltimore. She asked me to drop off my wig in which I did, her page presents that she had a studio location. On the day of my appointment she attempts to move my time 3 hours after what I originally already paid for a week prior (my deposit was $15) due to an inconvenience with her car. I told her that wouldn’t work, she proceeds to say “I will cancel the appointment for you”. and tries to bargain with me about setting my time back which did not work for me. She then said she would come to my home, because she was a travel artist. Not only is she not licensed but there is no where on her page that states she’s a travel artist. She canceled my appointment and when I went to pick up my wig the same day she said she would send me my money back for the deposit since I never received services and SHE canceled my appointment (I have text messages). She never sent me my money back, I reached out to her 2 different months, it’s been 3 months now. She proceeds to ignore my texts and calls and declined my refund request via cashapp which is where I sent her the money. I also have screenshots and proof of text messaging between me and the scammer.

I’d schedule a hair appointment and put down a 25 deposit. I confirmed with the hairstylist about my appointment the day before. The time of my appointment the hairstylist wasn't there and she didn't respond to any of my phone calls or text messages.
