I went to Green Country Auto to look at a 2011 Toyota Tundra VIN# 5TFUW5F12BX196014. The Vehicle was advertised as a TRD package and had the TRD package stickers on the truck. As we began to talk numbers on a deal I made them aware of a comparable vehicle I was looking at. The salesman kept trying to leverage the deal by saying I wasn't comparing apples to oranges since the comparable vehicle wasn't a TRD package like they're vehicle was. I wasn't comfortable with the lack of options on the vehicle, it didn't look like a TRD to me, I've done my research. I stopped the deal at that point and went on my way. During my inspection of the vehicle I found the previous owners name and phone number. I contacted the previous owner and he stated that it WAS NOT A TRD and did NOT have TRD stickers on it when he purchased it new, he was the only owner. A run of the VIN # does not show that the vehicle is a TRD. Do your research, DON"T TRUST THESE PEOPLE!
