we received a postcard saying that our checking account will be debited for People Magazine and we did NOT order it we have tried calling the phone number given but there is no answer after waiting on hold for 20 minutes several times the phone gos dead not disconnected just dead

This company created a fake Bank of America check with my information and account numbers. They indicated it was for a renewal of a magazine I subscribed to. I have no recollection of the renewal and would never authorize anyone to create a counterfeit bank check in my name.

TV Guide is going to renew her rate through her bank account and need her social security. Consumer called number on paper, and they said they have nothing to do with this and informed her it was a scam.
