Person called claiming to be a Cabarrus County court deputy saying bench warrants have been issued becuase I did not show up for Grand Jury Duty. Gave me dates of mailings letters and received signed documents from me.

Saying if I did t sign the documents they would start a fraud proceeding but I needed to either be arrested and booked to be bonded out in order to go before a judge

Or I needed to Zelle, PayPal or Venmo

Them the cost of the 2 fines $1,325 and change for each that would be placed in hold and I judge would then zoom call me back in to review the signature on my paperwork.

When challenged they offered to call me back from a switchboard but said they couldn’t get through to me. Never offered a number for me to verify

This was the information I was given and who to make a payment too.
