I applied for South Center printing inc showing based out of Charleston WV (they had multiple jobs listed in numerous states) on Indeed.com. The company reached out the next day stating position had been filled and they were transferring my resume over to Goldmark consultants inc and I was to download the app called Signal for an interview with Tationa White. I did the interview and was “hired” they sent me a check for 6,600 this was for my equipment purchase to start. I went to the bank explained to the teller that the compmays website was put down. The teller did some research and was able to see the checks did not match up along with the signature. When I reached back out to Tatinoa about my concerns and that the teller said the checks didn't match nor the names they signed off the messaging app.

I applied for a job online and then was emailed that they had many applicants and then sent me a number for a Mrs. Marilyn Coggins and to message her on the Signal Messaging app, I did so and after being "briefed" was asked some interview questions and almost immediately was told I had been hired. They told me that they would send a check so I could purchase supplies, and I didn't that legitimate businesses don't do that. I recieved the check about two (2) days after being "hired" I tried to deposit the check via a mobile banking app (My personal bank app that IS legitimate). Soon later I was told that the check was fraudulent or incorrect information. I assumed I had done something wrong on the check and was locked out of my bank account. The next day, I went to the bank and got my account unblocked and told them I must've done it wrong, they told me that the check was indeed fraudulent and that it was a scam. I immediately blocked "Marilyn Coggins" and reported all the emails they sent me were spam and blocked them.

They reached out on indeed through another company claiming they were referring to another sister company download signal and spoke to Marilyn coggins. They sent a check and asked me to deposit it to purchase the supplies for work and then the second day they asked me to do another i did not. I have been looking them up but nothing pertaining to a scam popped up. Their going through the entire process as an interview on this signal app. And they are doing a background check and all.
