FB marketplace buying wheels and tires. Seller sends Drivers License and has a storefront and seems legit. Price was 750 and I asked if he could deliver items, he said he would ship for an additional 100. I paid the 850 and then the second part of the scam comes in. This company starts texting stating I need to buy refundable insurance of 335 and after or when it's delivered, the driver will pay me the difference. Back and forth, spoke to shipper on the phone, also their cashier on the phone- by then, it's just another few hundred. I talked the seller to split the costs, I paid 200, he paid 135- I'm sure they are in on it together. After that, the FB account of seller is gone and shipping company states I need to send another 150 or something to continue the shipment and it's urgent and on the road or they will be forced to return the items... They have stated they would provide pictures of the shipment and other things- not so much. Anyway, still trying to get money out of me- I keep sending texts. Scam from start to finish.
