They purchased a web search ad for "Global Entry" that pretends to be US government program by the same name (if you see such, report it as fraud so the ad gets taken down). The web site looks like the official site with US CBP/DHS logos etc. They have you fill out the same information required to apply for the real Global Entry and take a credit card. They then have somebody go to the real Global Entry site and enter the same information and same credit card number. After a few days, they charge your credit card a $149.95 "service fee", as if they were a service for applying for Global Entry (though the web site pretends that they are Customs and Border Patrol / DHS). They are not authorized to act as a service for Global Entry. They will charge again if you don't complain or dispute the charge. They would rather you complain than dispute because they don't want to lose the ability to take credit cards so dispute the charge no matter how hard your credit card company tries to talk you into complaining to the "merchant" instead. Who knows what they might do with the tons of sensitive information they collected.
