My insured (a Cleaning Co.) contacted me (insurance agent) about a general contractor (Redfin Real Estate/Redfin Outsourcing) requiring them to purchase 2 years of insurance up front to be paid for in full before work would be referred out. Insurance companies don't operate this way. Luckily, we caught this in time that it was a scam. There are many phone numbers associated with this company 410-204-4598, 214-494-9571, 410-384-8614. Their advertisement they emailed to my insured includes the redfin logo, but doesn't list any websites or contact information. The descriptions of their jobs seemed to be AI generated translations from Spanish to English.
