We were contacted by Nicole Kowalski through the BBB. WE were provided an email of [email protected] to contact her. We reached out to her and she requested a quote for installation of 6" seamless aluminum gutters, 4" round white downspouts and 6" bulldog gutter guards. We drove to the property and measured the house for gutters. There was a realtor sign in the yard, but she had told me she was in the process of purchasing and would want the job completed after closing. We quoted $3605.00 for the job and she approved. I asked for a phone number, which she provided (475) 329-7281, but said she could text only because she was partially deaf. The next contact was telling me that she needed to make a mobile deposit in our account for the job. I did not supply any information. She persisted 3 other times trying to get the information. I contacted the selling agent for the property and he told us that he had never heard of this person. But that the house was under contract with someone with a totally different name. I emailed Nicole and told her that we had discovered that she was lying and I assumed she was a scammer. I told her that I would pray for her to find Jesus before it's eternally too late. It would be helpful, in the future if the customers sent our way were verified a little more prior to sending the information. Anything you can do to not allow her to try and scam another business would be appreciated. Have a blessed weekend.
