Part of an advertisement page linked to msn.com. Looked legit and really didn't think anything more of it besides getting some cookware I planned to give to my daughter. Small portion was paid to cover initial costs of shipping (9.85). Sounded like a starter company that was trying to get their merchandise out for a limited to time. The next day I awoke to find text messages from my bank concerning Fraud Alert. I come to find out they used my initial payment information to apply it on another payment (different company) for the full price of the items I was supposed to get, which was their price of @ 194.00.

Following the AARP link to 7 items seniors didn't know that they could save money on. Following the link most of the items are geared more towards the homeowners. The Le Creuset pan set looked good and I picked blue. At this time no mention of entering a monthly raffle for the set or a monthly bill for a gym membership. All in the fine print plus you only have 24 hours to cancel the order. Thank goodness I cancelled it. The first customer service person knew nothing. That is the number on the pending payment, the number on the receipt belongs to the raffle people and they were not pleasant about cancelling the commitment until I said that I was reporting the company to the BBB.

I got a survey from them which said it was from Sams club. I did thie survey and was told because i did the survey i won a ninja cookware and all i had to pay was for shipping 7.85. I did like an [censored] and two weeks later my card was compromised. My bank caught and online order for 139.00. They are a scam. I see other people experience the same. How are they not shut down or caught?

gadgetgiveawayco.com said I won this 5 piece pot set from Le Creuset cookware set if I paid for the shipping. I am always entering sweepstakes and online games for cash so it didn't seem unrealistic. That was until I still never heard anything or received email. I assume now by coming here and seeing others with same that I never will.

I seen this ad about winning a new Ipad and i followed through with the prompts, all that was implied was having to cover shipping and handling. A total of $7.85. I was charged $9.85 instead. Should’ve seen a red flag there. Then later in the day I was charged $193.05 unknowingly. Luckily my bank caught it and notified me that the transaction was declined. When I called Customer service, I was informed that it was some kind of monthly payment that I supposedly activated, when that information was false. I was only under the impression that I’d cover S&H for this “free” item I won. Moral of the story, DO NOT FALL FOR THESE FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS OF FREE ITEMS. ITS A SCAM!

I seen this online that Drew Barrymore was with Le Creuset cookware - giveaway cast iron 3pc. Set in Teal. All I have to do is pay S & H of only $7.85. And my free cookware set will arrive in 5-7 days . I can't find anything about my order ? They charged $9.85. Beware of this it's a scam. Please help, these fake giveaways need to be stopped. Thanks

It was supposed to be a giveaway and you need to pay the postage. They tried to use my account to make a purchase of their company for $148. The bank notified me, gave me their name and it was fraudulent activity and my bank account needed to be cancelled

I thought I had won a drawing on Instagram for a topnotch rifle scope from Vortex. Everything on the website had to do with Vortex, but as I received my payment confirmation it was from gadgetgiveawayco.com.

That they got $7.95 out of me is bad enough, but they tried to bill me a week later for $1,255. Which they won't get because I used a pre paid card I use for online shopping. Bought a new card.
