Fedex Reports & Reviews (38)

I am getting a lot of text messages from different numbers & names claiming they are with UPS and now FedEx and have tried to deliver packages to me multiple times. That's followed by a hyperlink I need to follow to schedule delivery. Below is a.copy of one such text:

Good morning Tammy, this is Todd from Fedex. I've tried to deliver your item twice, but to no avail. Can you please schedule here: ltl3jj.com/MeqT6E3COY?

Here's another within a couple of hours of this one:

Hello Tammy, this is Ben from Fedex. I've tried to deliver your item twice, but to no avail. Can you please schedule here: ltl3jj.com/MevVhudqVq

I dont dare.click these links because this looks like a scam.

Ive received several texts in the last month indicating my iPhone 11 has been waiting for my reply to set up my correct home delivery. Each day I receive a notice that they tried to deliver. I have not responded to any texts. Here is one actual text:

Patricia, this is a reminder from Fedex. Your package # ending with 5850 is scheduled for delivery. Kindly arrange here: x7gws.com/Ef4BOdcPeV

Guy texted from insta gram, stating he was Mark Zuckerberg and that I won 400,000,000.00 but that I needed to send a gift card for $450.00

- Harvest, AL, USA

Email said it was from the department of delivery notifications and that I had a shipment attempt had been made and gave links for tracking numbers to see shipping updates. The email looks legit, but it seemed suspicious as I was not expecting any packages from fedex and especially nothing that would send updates to my business email address. I reported it to my company and deleted it without clicking on the links or forwarding it, so I don't know what the links would have taken me to.

- Liberty Center, OH, USA

Received a text message. Did not open. Took a screenshot to report it, then deleted the text message.

- Waterville, OH, USA

Received an email from “FedEx” that I had a package waiting and I had not ordered anything recently and I heard this was a scam so I immediately deleted it.

- Defiance, OH, USA

Repeated text messages by a scammer purporting to be FedEx. Text messages include a link.

I have been receiving emails stating the are with FedEx and gives fake tracking number with a link to click on to schedule delivery preference.

Thanks

Customer received a text that read: Hello (NAME) your FEDEX package with tracking code GB-6412-GH83 is waiting for you to set delivery preferences: c3dst.info/Rv4Ok011mjcP.

Customer was not anticipating any deliveries and did not follow the link.

- Green Cove Springs, FL, USA

I have forwarded the emails to FedEx several times giving them chances to handle the problem. The emails are coming to my work email. They keep saying that my address is incorrect and my card information is incorrect please update.

Call on 7-17-18 at 4:27 pm masked as 512-249-0245 Austin TX. Indian man claimed to be from FedEx and continued to ask if I was "first last". I switched subjects but eventually said the word "yes". He immediately said he had to speak with his manager and hung up. Spoofed number is invalid. Suspect he was attempting to record me saying yes so I am monitoring all bills and statements to dispute anything I have not purchased.

If possible, I'd like the call to be traced.

- Dripping Springs, TX, USA

The guy said he was with fedex and I had to send him 50 dollars to get my 5,000 dollars. So I told him I'd go to a fedex location to do it. He said it takes too long to do that and was very insistent that I do it via a steam card. I never did either and I told him it was a scam then he said it wasn't believe it or not. He then said goodbye, after I told him he was low for trying to steal my money 2 days after my daughter was born.

- Topeka, KS, USA

The man has been telling me to send money and I will get a check that my dead friend left me. Ive been paying theses people for 5 yrs and still will not bring the check always has excuses

- Odessa, TX, USA

I am just trying to find out if this is a scam. They are telling me to contact them for delivery of a check from the Coca cola bottling co. because I was piicked at random to win $750,000.

I took a picture of the email but deleted it because I figured when I unzipped the email that I probably just opened something that was allowing someone access to all my personal information.

I have not called or made any contact regarding the email. I can't believe there is anything legitimate about this. Please let me know what steps I should take regarding this matter.

For the past several weeks, I have receiving emails the one below

Dear Customer,

Your parcel has arrived at November 14. Courier was unable to deliver the parcel to you.

Please, download Delivery Label attached to this email.

Yours trully,

Tracy Stevenson,

Station Manager.

Caller asked for my daughter (who no longer lives here) asked for her information, concerning a package. I explained that I would pass on his contact information to her but not willing to give her information. He gave me 1-876-336-8622 as a number to return the call, when I googled the number it show being located in Kingston, Jamaica. I then ask for him to verify his relationship with FedEx and he then hung up.

I received an email with subject line:

"FED EX International Notification #8622"

With the content:

"FedEx No.8622

We've got a new message for you.

We have sent you a message with the required information.

I order online occasionally so do receive items per FedEx and UPS at times. As soon as I attempted to open my email, I received a pop up notification that something/someone was trying to access my personal information!

I got an email the other day from FedEx, I have never used this company, and the email did come with an attachment that said click here for more details. I never clicked on the button but the email did come with a number though #9584. I don't know what that number is supposed to mean. I'm not sure if this is a scam or if the email was sent to me by mistake.
