I was contacted by Diana Sneed, who is supposedly the HR Manager at Cigna Healthcare, on Friday, September 13 for a remote position with Cigna. I filled out a Google job application supposedly for Cigna Healthcare. I lost all my good senses and complied to all but one request and that is sending the equipment to 9050 Cook Road, Suite 100 Houston, TX 77099. I was sent a link to Verizon where an iPhone 16 and iPad 13 were purchased and was told I just had to pay for the taxes which I did. I asked for the contact's name and telephone number to place on the shipping label. I was not given a name, but the telephone number I was given is, (205) 728-4950. I also asked Diana for her email address. She gave me [email protected]. I have not sent the iPad tablet because the phone is supposed to arrive on Friday which at that time I am to mail it via UPS or FedEx to the Houston address. I still have contact with the individual who is posing as Diana Sneed in a Teams message. The link for the Teams meeting is https://teams.live.com/l/invite/FDAan2mjPO-soh8hAc How I figured it was a scam. I was sent a link to Cigna Healthcare. I used it several times because I was trying to find out if the hiring process was legit. after flipping through screen after screen another window popped up with a fraud alert that stated others are posing as Cigna Recruiters and that Cigna does not use free third party emails, e.g., gmail, yahoo. That's when I became scared. Today I contacted Cigna Healthcare and spoke to the receptionist, Diane, and she confirmed my fears. She said there is a Diana Sneed that works for Cigna, but she is not in recruiting. One more thing, I still have the scammer on Teams on my mobile phone.
