Type of a scam Employment

I was contacted through e-mail by a supposed recruiter, Emma Balinski, offering a remote job for a Project Manager position. They had a phone number where I could contact them, a website to represent their company and an email from which they sent me a Training Agreement and a supposed breakdown of the Hiring Process. They said I had to complete a background check without a formal interview and offered I do it through a separate institution if I did not feel comfortable doing it through them (promising they would reimburse me). They requested I send them my resume and offered a three (3) week training. Supposedly, they would pay for the training at the end of the third week through direct deposit. I did not fill out any banking information considering I felt unsure of whether it was a scam or not.

Afterwards, they would sent me random assignments such as a Project Initiation Task to define goals and objectives, a 4 minute video on Project Management Techniques, and topics of this nature. I looked into the ScamPulse.com website and read a similar experience about fraudulent companies requesting banking and personally identifiable information in order to scam the public. Therefore, I contacted the actual location they said they were operating from in ON, Canada and they were not even recognized.

I blocked their email and felt obligated to share this information for others to avoid this situation as well.
