Eco Van Spares Reports & Reviews (1)

I posted a wedding dress for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Username Eco Van Spares reached out wanting to purchase the dress via Zelle. I initially received an email from [email protected] stating funds were being processed and pending. I attempted to call Zelle to confirm if email was standard practice but was unable to talk to an employee due to lack of options on calling menu. I called my bank, Chase Bank, and talked to an employee about purchase and asked if the email from “Zelle”, provided actual email address, was standard practice; Chase employee confirmed that it was standard practice.

Moving forward, I received emails stating my Zelle account needed to be upgraded to a business account and in order to do so the purchaser, Eco Van Spares, would need to pay $3000 instead of the agreed amount of $2400 and I would refund the excess $600. Eco Van Spares messaged me later asking for an additional refund of an additional $600 for an accidentally overpayment. Both were “refunded” in a total loss of $1,200. My account has not received any funds and Chase has confirmed there are no funds from Zelle pending.

I have screenshots of all conversations via Facebook with Eco Van Spares and all emails with [email protected]
