Eatingtools.com (website: eatingtools.com) advertised a piece of cookware for $195. I paid for the item and in approximately 1 hour, the owner of the business emailed me ([email protected]) stating he would need another $100 in order for me to complete the transaction due to a "glitch" within Instagram. The only other option given was to cancel the transaction and receive a refund. This type of practice is often associated with bait and switch scams. The owner made no attempts to rectify his pricing mishap by honoring the advertised price, but chose to email this statement after calling him out "Thanks for taking the high road here. It does sound like our shop of artisan-made, world-class cookware is probably not the right shop for you."
