They have been trying to get money from my account.. I don't know who they are.

There was an internet ad that claimed this product (an oil) gave relief from depression. I would not have proceeded further but there was a picture of Dr. Oz and stated he recommended this. It stated the price for a sample was only $6.84. When I saw Dr5. Oz recommend it I was interested. For $6.84 I thought I would try it. The ad never stated I would have to pay any further charges. The ad also never stated that it was cannibus oil (marijuana). That alone would have caused me not to buy it. When I received the small bottle about one week later I saw for the first time that it was cannibus oil. I immediately threw it away. I thought that was the end of this. However, on May 5, 2020 an charge of $89.84 appeared on my credit card statement under the name of Easy Care Healthy Oil Plus from a Florida location with phone number 844-591-4301

I called and spoke with a representative who feigned not to have received my correct last name. This went on for about 10 minutes. Finally he explained that the $6.84 charge was for shipping and not the purchase. I kept explaining I wanted the $89.84 charge removed. After much back and forth he finally said that I had signed up for ongoing purchase not a one time thing. After arguing with him he said he could only refund $40.00 of the $89.84. I insisted I wanted the total charge removed removed several times. I told him my credit card company needed a cancellation number to remove the $89.84 unauthorized charged. He finally gave me a cancellation number which I gave to my credit card company. He later sent an email saying they would give me a $40.00 credit only. This was a total scam from the beginning. I want to get in touch with Dr. Oz and find out if he actually recommended this product and authorized this company to use his name but I don't know how to reach Dr. Oz. I don't believe a very reputable doctor like Dr. Oz would be associated with such a dishonest company that perpetrates this scam. I don't actually know whether the original ad was in the name of Easy Care or Sonoma Valley but they are certainly one and the same. I would suggest they use the Easy Care name on the billing charge so you don't know what is going on when you review the credit card statement. I am certain that this original ad did not contain any terms or conditions about signing up for a continuing purchase.
