Same scam, same phone number, new company

I got a text message from number (203) 653-5193 to schedule a call with a company I didn't apply to. But the company is different than in other complains.

The company is real, but everything else is scam.
Where do they get our phone numbers?

I received a text from Lorraine at "Earth Solutions Group" asking that I respond to the email: [email protected] for a remote administrative job. I have been looking for work, so I went along with it, but it quickly became apparent that this was fishy.
$45/hour and the promise of sending me a check to furnish my home office after a 15 minute interview set off multiple red flags. Do not engage!

At first they appeared as a job listing looking for an Admin Assistant position on LinkedIn that I did not apply to and reached out via text message and email. Then they pressure you into responding to their email to set up an interview through an instant messaging app called Wire. Upon further review, they’re pretending to be a legitimate company located in Australia, but White Pages list them in Connecticut. Do not give them any banking or sensitive information. Do not sign any documents. No job will be that demanding of you that is worth your time and effort. I’m glad I did my research on the company they’re pretending to be.
