Our church pastor was called and told that our services were going to be disconnected for non payment. They said that they were not suggesting that we didn't pay our bill, but they did not know why our payment had not posted to our account. We were asked to make a new payment to prevent disconnection and our payment would be refunded to us if it turned out to be Dominion's error. They did not have our account number and each time I called back, I spoke with the same person with a different name. Also, when you call the number it sounded like a Dominion recording. I told them that Dominion would not ask for a demand cash payment and I believe that they were scammers. They disconnected the call.

caller said that they were Dominion Power and started the bit about our power being disconnected at which point i cut them off to let them no it was a scam, they hung up. I called the number back and they answered as a pharmacy but when i began to speak they hung up. The name on the caller ID was Turnrose, B.

They call claiming that the power is going to be shut off at your business address because you are behind on electricity payments. They demand immediate payment otherwise the power will be shut off that same day.

Dominion Power called from number 1-866-243-7593 and said our business was going to lose power today if we did not pay $980. We asked for invoice #'s, they said they could not provide them. When we demended them we were hung up on. After we looked at our RTO account and verified nothing was past due we called the number back. The same person answered and we asked how much money he made today, he said only $11,000. We asked if he was a scammer, he said no. We asked for his employee name and employee ID number. He said his name was William Sean Michael and then placed us on hold and hung up on us.

a person by the name of David called and told me that our account has been past due for two months and that we will be delinquent in 1 hr. Told me to call 1-800-603-0957 their bill pay customer service and gave me a case number CN-0567-L. I knew this was scam as soon as I hear that because our Dominion payment is on auto pay, which mean payment due is automatically withdrawn from my bank account, so that does not make sense at all.

A man from "Dominion Power" called and said that a guy was coming to "shut off the power" and that we needed to pay them in order to keep the lights on. I got my owner. He spoke with them and they said they need him to go to Rite Aid and grab a gift card and scratch off the back so that he can pay the bill of $900.00. I told my boss immediately that this was a scammer. We hung up

I have received 2 phone calls today from 8555015519. They were claiming that I have not paid my bill for the month and were about to turn my power off at my store in 30 minutes. My store is located at *** *** *** *** ** ***. I looked up the offices for Dominion power and the one I was given wasn't listed on the list of offices for dominion power. They were claiming that they were Dominion Power. I have bank statements proving that I have paid the bills.

Had a phone call from a service tech that was on his way to disconnect my services at my business. I called the number he gave me and reached a supervisor almost immediately (odd for dominion) and was informed that a recent payment had been blocked and I could not pay via phone or online and had to purchase a prepaid card and to get signed up for express payments. All of which usually takes 72 hours but he ensured that I could pay anyway and he would delay the disconnection. He had our business info, the phone has Dominions exact automated message and everything. The whole thing sounded ridiculously thought out and legit. We didn't pay and our power stayed on. They are getting smarter and better. Even called on a Saturday that way we would have no choice but to rush to a bank. (could only be done via cash). His name was Patrick and he even stated that a glitch occured in their system and it affected 2 % of Dominions business accounts and we all were required to pay even though it wasn't our fault. Be wary!!

Call w/ Dominion Power disconnect notice due to non-payment of $960. States person is on their way to shut off my power. Asks questions about my account and then tells me to call in to make payment. When I call, person says it's too late to pay by CC, need to come into office and pay with cash. Location of office is too far away. Give me instructions to get a MoneyPak and call back with the PIN.

Received phone call from number above claiming to be Dominion Power calling to prevent disconnection of our power within thirty minutes because of overdue bills. We luckily realized that we have no overdue balances, and did not provide any payment info.

I received a call from 844-277-9449 stating they were from Dominion and about to turn our power off due to non payment since November. I logged in to my account, saw that the bills had been paid and asked to speak to her supervisor. She wasn't able to transfer me, but gave me a number to reach Michael Williams at 844-244-9660, ext. 1521. The scary part: she had the exact amounts of my past 2 months. How did they even get that info? I'm reporting it to Dominion also. These people need to be stopped. BTW, this is a business they called, not personal account.

we have received phone calls from someone claiming to be from Dominion Power for the last 2 months trying to get us to pay them large amounts of money immediately or our power would be cut off within 45 minutes...the first time I was actually on the phone with the real dominion Power and he tracked everything that we talked about, this time the man identified himself as Demetrius and said we needed to pay him 1600.00 in 45 minutes or our power would be cut, we told him to go ahead and cut it off and he was like "really?" I said yes...he said he would be there within the hour and I told him great we would have the cops waiting for him and he hung up on me...
