Digicare Solutions Inc. Reports & Reviews (2)

Tech support was offered for a three year package for over $700 by Digicare Solutions. The company claims to clean computers from virus threats. A technician logs into your computer to see what you need. The loaded software is the scam. They are logging onto your computer to access your personal information to establish yet another level of theft. Beyond selling an inferior product, this company is grooming unsuspecting customers into a trust relationship that eventually ends in illegally manipulating/stealing online banking information and more.

In one particular scam, the technician, Ben Rogers (surely not his real name), convinces a customer that their first check was written incorrectly; that Ben would be fired unless this customer rectified their error immediately. Ben manipulated the customer's multiple banking accounts by moving money (after stealing passwords while customer was on the computer) around but explaining to the customer that they wired back the original check as shown in the bank account. The scam then has the customer wire back the difference. Ben is very appreciative leaving several messages and texts of gratitude. This unfortunate customer was groomed well. This particular scam resulted in over $7,000 in theft.

Ben requested the check be made out to Electralou LLC. The FTC is currently investigating both Digicare Solutions and Electralou LLC. Police reports have been filed against both companies.

On Sept 3, 2020 within 2 hours of purchasing a computer a message popped up to contact a phone number as the computer was being hacked. We thought it was microsoft support and called the number. They stated the computer was hacked and we could see files running in the background. When they said they could put on antihacking, antivirus, etc. we did allow them to do so. At that time, it was requested I make out a check for 5 years of coverage, in the amount of $1461.00 and fax it before they started working on the computers. I did so and was then told to mail the check to P.O. Box 942891, Chandler, Arizona 85248 U.S. We were told there would be 24 hour availability for any problems. After speaking to my daughter, she told us this was a scam. I immediately contacted the company requesting a refund as I did not want this service. I was told it would take a couple days. In the meantime, I contacted my bank and put a stop payment on the check. A week later, I started receiving calls to my cell and home phone multiple times from Digicare. I told them a stop payment was put on the check and we had their software removed. I have now received a email requesting, again, payment with the threat to contact the Better Business Bureau and this would affect my credit. This company is a scam. We were caught at a vulnerable time. I have since checked on this company and notice there have been multiple complaints.
