The company called a few times and left threatening messages. I couldn't get a person on the phone so I sent an email communication through their website that was never acknowledged. I asked in the email and in the phone conversation for documented proof of the debt because I have never borrowed money from a company called Mesa. The phone conversation resulted in the agent and so-called manager speaking to me in an extremely rude and condescending manner. I continued to request documented proof without success and the manager eventually disconnected the call. I looked up the company and attempted contact and found the company is not a lender, but a company that does phishing for lenders. I should add that when I requested proof, I was sent a letter that was generated on the computer, dated today (9/18/20) as documentation of the debt that happened in 2012.
