A friend of mine on Facebook commented on one of my posts asking to befriend her again because by accident she deleted me from her friend list. I didn’t think nothing of it and I searched her name and I befriended her again. The next day I was on Messenger and the person whom I thought was my friend started messaging me. And then she started telling that her and her husband received $100,000.00 from the government that they qualified for. I told her I was very happy for them. She said I can contact you with our friend who helped us get it and the team delivered us the money. His name is Daniel Seale and she would let him contact me by email. And He did and I fell into the trap. I truly believed I was speaking to my friend online. Instead they had stolen her identity and created a fake Facebook page. And I feel targeted because it was only me out of all her friends on Facebook that got scammed by this individual.
