Type of a scam Debt Collections

Called me about a debt that's been paid years ago for something 7+ years ago. I explained that I've paid this years ago got transferred to Christina/Christine apparently the highest ranking individual there and she started screaming at me saying I don't pay my bills and when I was try to ask about possibly receiving proof of the debt she shouted "CREDIT OR DEBIT CREDIT OR DEBIT CREDIT OR DEBIT" nonstop. I expressed her anger made it difficult to trust the legitimacy as well as equally difficult to trust her with my card info I felt bullied and gave her my debit info and I was told I would receive and email. The email provided was NOT proof of any debt. Therefore I went to my bank and explained the situation and they recommended switching debit cards and I disabled the debit card in which I provided due to the verbal abuse. Please beware of the people. They will try to screw you over 36 ways from Sunday with NO PROOF. Where's the proof!! Either way the phone calls will no longer be answered. Also reported them to the bank fraud division and attorney general.

This company had contacted me and stated I have an outstanding debt from an old credit card I had payed off over 10 years ago. I asked them to send me a bill from their company. She refused to do that and insisted I owed it. She said I could settle for less if I just paid it. I called their company back and tried to get more information about the company. They would not give me any information and just keep getting rude and smarting off to me. I don't understand how they have a good rating with the BBB, when they have so many complaints. I want them to take me off there hoax call list.
