I communicated with someone identifying himself as James Carter, using (727) 334-4115. He claimed to be arranging concrete through Concrete Mix USA and requested full payment in advance through Zelle.

The Zelle payment was not sent to James Carter or Concrete Mix USA. It went to Ezequiel Paula at (347) 579-3126. After payment, I received repeated delivery promises, including messages saying that two trucks were coming, but no concrete was delivered.

I contacted the actual concrete company directly and learned that:

It does not deliver concrete to Miami.

The numbers involved do not match its publicly listed company number.

I have been unable to verify that James Carter or Ezequiel Paula is affiliated with the company.

I am reporting the transaction to my bank and the appropriate authorities. If you have dealt with either of these names or numbers, please message me privately with documentation:
