I received a bill from CMR on behalf of Windstream. They said I was the party identified as causing Windstream property damage at my address. They sent a letter on their letterhead and on a Windstream letterhead. (Not very convincing) CMR also included a damage invoice on Windstream letterhead saying I owed $2,224.70 for damage discovered on or about 2/24/2021. Nineteen months after the supposed damage. I called Windstream and verified with them that this was indeed a scam. Always verify with the purported company CMR is contracting with before paying these frauds a dime.
