Received 3 texts from the website checkgo,io. First thanked me for joining CheckGo, including options to reply and email [email protected]. Second told me my application (I've never applied to CheckGo, let alone heard of it) has been reviewed and accepted. Third used the last 4 digits of my phone number as a reference to view my form with the link expiring in 12 hours.

I received a text from this number saying my “request processed & accepted!” No idea what that’s about but when I did a preview of the link included in the text my phone immediately blocked it as unsafe. Not the first time I’ve received one from a “CheckGo” but I haven’t interacted with it besides reporting it as spam on my phone. Watch out for these weird texts!

I received a text message at 7:11 pm on Nov 13th, 2025.

It reads: "Hi, it's Mark from CheckGo. Your request is reviewed and accepted! Check your options here: https://start.checkgos.org/P5NB9Nem Reply STOP to opt out. They messaged from # (470) 750-9962

Sent me a text from instant message 65708 stating Your request has been accepted. View at the web address I provided.

Second message says Welcome to CG, your app was received, we will update you once progress is made. After I texted "Help" another message was sent saying https://checkgo.org/contact/ and the phone number (which is fake) +13072008300.

This company, if you could even call it a company, repeatedly sends text messages from different named people at least every other day that will say something to the effect of: Hello, this is Jackie with CheckGo. Your request has been processed & accepted! View here: https://myaccount.checkgo.org//********* The number it came from was 470-750-9961. I received that one yesterday. My husband and I neither one requested ANY money from this company nor did we seek out this company after reading the reviews for anything. My husband just got one this morning from another Jacky but notice the different spelling on this Jacky—it has a y on the end instead of ie and the number that person called from was different—it was 253-239-0152. Beware of this company!!!

I've received approx. 100 text messages from differing phone numbers, both short and long, and addressed to 2 people who are not me. One was addressed to a "Michelle" but the others have been sent to "Kara" and they have come into my cell phone number sometimes one at a time throughout the week but yesterday, I received 16 messages all in one minute from a ton of numbers all addressed to "Kara" but I am not "Kara" nor have I ever been. I have blocked all the numbers they come in from but they keep coming in. This started back in about October 2024 but have steadily gotten worse. I have verified my account details are secure and have enabled MFA on all accounts I use online. I don't take giving my cell phone number out lightly so it's very concerning to me that I keep getting these messages.
