Type of a scam Online Purchase

I placed an ad today on Kijiji for a vehciel I am selling. Within minutes of the ad being approved, I received a text message from someone I thought was a potential buyer. The person insisted that I send them a Canadavin report. Dealerships, icbc and banks use Carfax to confirm vehilce detials, such as damage, service history,liens, etc. After explaining several times to the person on the other end of the texting conversation, that our dealership does not use the Canadavin service, I recived several rude messages. These people are reaching out to automobile sellers who do not have a carfax listed on their ad and pretencing to be auto purchasers, who only are interested in having people purchase a Canadavin report which is a very poor knock off, of information from Carfax!
