On 01/14/22 a warning sign appeared on the screen of my computer, instructing me not to shut off my computer and also that its system was compromised by a virus. It flashed a # to call. I called the # and spoke to a Tek at this # (1-888-539-0172) time was 5:24pm. He began explaining the problem & persuaded me to purchase these 2 products. #1. a 2 yr. Network security=$199.99. #2. an ADD Blocker + Pop-up Blocker=$129.99. Totaling $329.98. He also persuaded me to sign a Customer Authorization Agreement, HelloSign + commercial term & condition, however, on that same day I received another call from a Tek named Mark at (1-425-386-5297). just checking if the system installed worked, time 7:27pm. On 01/15/22, at 3:42pm I received another call from the original Tek, but his # changed to (1-425-988-5297) but this time he asked me about the check I wrote asking: whether or not I had the funds in my account which he does have my personal banking info. I also have copies on my phone of the aforementioned items. from his computer he took a photo of the check I wrote out to can-us.I still feel suspicious and file this complaint in good faith.
