They need to be turned in for harassment 1-888-851-2923 This has been happening to myself and my father rude and definitely a SCAM.

Received a text supposedly from Bryant and Associates Filing Services. The body of the text was the same as previously posted, and stated it was looking for my husband. The text came from 619-485-0335, and the "call back number" was 877-671-4679. I did a reverse search for both numbers that came back blanks. I also looked up the company, and neither number is associated with the contact information for the company.
I call scam, and will delete the message

My dad received a call from an apparent 3rd party company who worked for BNA. He had the company text:

So i looked up BnA and I found one in Cal, NE, and IL. But my dad doesn’t have any legal documents going on at the moment, and why would you send a claim number over text. Just seemed odd. So I called an a rep for the “3rd party” got nasty with me as I kept pushing how I don’t believe this is real and I won’t be clicking the link to call the number . So he hung up on me and I proceeded to call again. I got a different man and he was also getting nasty with me but said he would transfer me to an associate. The guy I spoke to said his name really fast and couldn’t get it but I asked what this claim was for my fathers sake , and he would not let me know even it was civil or what the documents were for . So I said that’s it’s strange and seems like a scam he was raining his voice with me saying he needed to speak to my father . Understandable so I said he’s right here. He said great he just needs to verify it’s my dad . I said well how are you going to verify it’s my dad when you don’t even have any of his info but his apparent address and number ? Then the man started yelling at me saying I don’t like the truth but I kept asking how he would verify it’s my dad ( like is he going to ask for his social?) and the man hung up on me . Glad I found this site to really close up the deal that this was a scam!

This seems to be a scam to me. They are asking I settle a breached contract I have with a phone company I leased phones with in 2016 supposedly and I never had phone service with a company for my phone is under my husband's name and has been like tht for many years. She is demanding I pay 2k otherwise I will be faced with court and court processing fees adding this debt upto over 5k then so asked I make a onetime payment in full within 24hrs

Scam or Debt Collector

Received a call looking for my father. She knew my name and sounded like a native english speaker. Although she was quite evasive when I asked about the specifics of the call. She implied she worked for the county and this was a "civil" issue. When pressed she relented and said she worked for a company that works for another company (B&A Filing Services). As far as I know my father has no unpaid depts. Either way, this company used a fake caller id my local area for the voice call (different area than my father). I am leaning towards a scam and/or a collector that purchased extremely old unenforceable debts and is attempt to collect on them anyways by implying pending legal action.

Threats of Calls and Texts messages to myself and family member, Stated that I owe Capital One money 15 years ago and that they are Mediating this madder before a civil suit is started. Called Capital One and they said there is no outstanding account with my info and that the only old account they show has been paid in full. I have been a loyal customer with Capital One. Note that there is a real company called Bryant and Associates that is a debt collector but has no ties to Bryant and Associates Filing Services, seems like they trying to make it seem like it’s the same company. I along with several relatives received a text message on 11/17/2021 from a cell phone number 1-408-785-4510 that it was a final notice, they were a mitigation department at 888-525-1810 immediately. There was a supposed case number and their name after the county I live in vs me. I called the number provided and made contact with a gentleman by the name of Jacob Edwards. I asked questions about what the matter was about, how they got my number, and information. The gentleman became very rude, told me he did not feel well and was I gonna "hush so he could speak". I immediately got really upset at the tone and audacity of a stranger asking how I was gonna pay, risk having my assets taken, and hush my mouth. He said that he was looking at my financial information in front of him, he soon hung up on me. I called back because I was started and afraid, a lady named Sophia Diaz said she had permission to discuss me paying a lower amount to solve the matter before a judgment against me. They tried to speak on financial matters from 17 years plus ago, calling me the wrong name, very weird. They were fishing for more information I guess and said they would settle for 1800.00 about a debt I have no clue of. They said they would seize any assets and freeze my finances. I hope someone else has insight on these parasitic individuals preing on innocent people.
