I thought I was purchasing a puppy from this website, BrinsonCorgiCompanions.com. After I was emailed and texted to pay for insurance for transporting the puppy and food (supposedly split between me and the breeder listed as Brinson Corgi Companions) I found out here was no such breeder and no puppy

I submitted a request using the website link for information on a dog from BrinsonCorgiCompanions.com. I received a ext message, and we communicated for a while. I put down $350 using Cash App for a deposit. Then in trying to arrange a time I could pick up the dog, he offered delivery and that would cost $200. I paid, then was contacted by a delivery company. They requested an additional $1700 for delivery as a refundable payment. I refused to pay and asked for my funds back. The merchant stopped responding.
