Bay Area Times Reports & Reviews (17)

- Triangle, VA, USA • Oct 09, 2026

Receiving recurring spam/phishing messages from multiple addresses under the same domain ([email protected] and [email protected]) tied to Bay Area Times. The scam emails bypass standard spoofing detection (sending from legitimate cloud infrastructure like AWS or Cloudflare-backed servers), flooding inboxes with promotional or deceptive content. These emails violate anti-spam guidelines, and requests to unsubscribe or block specific addresses don't stop the barrage. Avoid clicking any links.

- Rochester, MI, USA • Oct 05, 2026

My mailbox is full of aggressive, unsolicited emails coming from @bayareatimes.com addresses (such as [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]). These unexpected messages resemble phishing attempts. All links are suspicious. I would say avoid interacting with any URLs or downloading attachments in these emails, and simply mark the incoming messages as spam or phishing directly inside your email provider.

Who is the guy running "Bay Area Times"? Why do you send scam messages from your scam email address [email protected]? What are you looking for? Stealing my personal information?

- New Castle, PA, USA • Sep 28, 2026

Oh God, again "Bay Area Times". This is the 10th email I've gotten in 48 hours from this scam operation. Emails originating from Bay Area Times (@bayareatimes.com) are related to aggressive unsolicited and phishing attacks. Reported Email Addresses: "[email protected]" "[email protected]" "[email protected]" "[email protected]". Everyone should be aware of this scam operation. Mark the messages as spam/phishing and block the sender addresses directly through your email service provider.

- Arlington, TX, USA • Sep 25, 2026

I am writing to report receiving an endless stream of unwanted and phishing-style emails within short timeframes from "Bay Area Times" using [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. I did not sign up for receiving such daily scam emails. The emails do not contain an opt-out option. The situation is really frustrating.

- North Hollywood, CA, USA • Sep 22, 2026

I am so tired of the "Bay Area Times" scam. My inbox is flooded with daily fraudulent messages from fake Bay Area Times sender aliases ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]). The emails contain links designed to steal personal information or install malware. STOP SENDING ME THESE EMAILS.

- Troy, OH, USA • Sep 16, 2026

My mailbox is full of scam emails from "Bay Area Times" using "[email protected]" and "[email protected]". I've seen other people complain too. This is an aggressive phishing and email scam operation flooding inboxes with fraudulent messages. Avoid clicking any links or downloading attachments within emails from "@bayareatimes.com" domains. I reported and blocked this sender immediately through my email provider.

- Ithaca, NY, USA • Sep 15, 2026

I am so tired of these daily scam emails. A repetitive daily email is being sent to me directly from "[email protected]", with verified server infrastructure and no spoofing associated with this so-called company, Bay Area Times. I did not agree to receive these emails at all, and I don't know how I have been added to their list. There is no way to unsubscribe.

- West Haven, CT, USA • Sep 14, 2026

Yesterday, I received an email from "[email protected]". I blocked that email address but surprisingly, I received an email from "[email protected]" today. Both are associated with "Bay Area Times", and the sender IP address is 44.207.228.154 which is the AWS server with no spoofing. This guy is sending unsolicited, aggressive promotional or phishing-style emails. The only way to get rid of that is to report it to its service provider, and possibly, the FTC.

This is a malicious actor sending me unsolicited phishing and scam emails. There is no way to remove myself from this scam mailing list.

- New Haven, CT, USA • Sep 11, 2026

I received two scam emails from "Bay Area Times" using "[email protected]" in less than 8 hours. I don't know how or why I have been added to their scam mailing list. I reported this email as phishing.

- West Haven, CT, USA • Sep 11, 2026

I received a scam/phishing email from "Bay Area Times" using their so-called marketing email address "[email protected]". That's a scam. DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS.

I have no idea what these people are after, but I’m not interested. My inbox is being bombarded with spam/scam emails from [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. Marked as spam and phishing. Don’t trust or engage with these emails.

- New Haven, CT, USA • Aug 31, 2026

Every morning, I wake up by seeing that I received phishing emails from "[email protected]". I don't know who this scammer is or what this scammer wants, but he does this every day. He switches between different scam emails ("[email protected]", "[email protected]", "[email protected]", and "[email protected]") to be unrecognized. I reported his scam activities to Cloudflare, but they did nothing. The public record shows many people have been affected by these scam emails. Those emails are scams and phishing, and no business under that name has even been registered.

- New Haven, CT, USA • Aug 28, 2026

Receiving daily scam emails from this scammer. The scam emails are being sent using "[email protected]", "[email protected]", "[email protected]", and "[email protected]". The domain registrar and the hosting provider were both contacted to report such abuse, but they did not do anything. We blocked their scam emails and IP address. Avoid it as much as you can and DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS IN THEIR EMAILS. Those are phishing.
