NOT A CHARITY!
National Autistic Children's PAC
Months ago, contacted by Breast Cancer Pac,

Automated request to send me an envelope for a donation. Asked what the percentage of funds go to the actual research and was told that after expenses, "what ever was left over". Most scam fundraisers only donate 10% or less of the money collected. They sound so wholesome and caring. They are thieves.

This gang from Philippines uses fake first responder & other nonexistent charities, revolving on software. They spoof numbers, change charities, names, genders, & voices. This time it was "Debbie from the Coalition for Autistic Children"
They are PROFESSIONAL THIEVES! Last week it was a FAKE police charity, then FAKE firefighter charity, complete with an American cop voice from their software.
DO NOT ANSWER!
THIS WILL PROMPT THE ROBOCALL SOFTWARE TO CALL YOU ENDLESSLY!

Probably same gang from Philippines, using one of many scams, which are usually first responder & charities. This was 'Debbie' from "National Coalition for Autistic Children", and the voice they chose was a female American. They constantly spoof numbers & change voices & fake charities.

I got a call for making a donation and they asked for my card details and address and phone number. It was a spam call and I reported the bank about it too.

A lady called from 1-877-524-0937 & said she was with "The American Coalition for Autism & Disabilities. Asked if they were to send me a packet out would I be willing to donate, I said yes. (My son is considered to be on the autism spectrum). She said $50 or $30, said she was transferring me to another dept. to get my info, but it sounded like exactly the same voice after the transfer. I told her I was told they would mail something out, she started to explain no that wasn't how it was done. They would take my name address etc. (Assuming card info also)... So I hung up.

A woman named Kate called me and asked if I would be willing to donate to The American Coalition for Autistic children. I think the options for donating were all above $15. They ask you to specifically use a MasterCard or Visa card. I tried to get further into the scam but in order to, you HAVE to donate. The funniest part is, when you try to donate, they tell you that you will be transferred to the person who will help you pay, it uses the same fake voice with the same fake name.

I don't recall the phone call but they said I agreed to help. I used to work with Special Needs students so maybe I was weak. In the mail, I got a payment coupon and an envelope and it hit me that didn't really know this "charity". I looked them up and ended up here. It was only 15 bucks, but I'm very happy that it's still my 15 bucks.
Thanks for being here

Oh God I just had a call today, my child is autistic too. Opted for the envelope. Had a feeling it’s a scam after the call ended. Definitely not sending money.

I just got a call from (877) 311-5031 asking for mail-in donations. They did a really good job masking the recorded message as a real person on the phone until I started asking questions. The same message just repeats so I went to look them up. This forum is the first thing that came up. Safe to say this is a total scam. Any real political non-profit would have a website with high domain authority and would have real people calling to solicit donations.

Received a call from this entity, asking for donations.

Since this is a PAC, the funds are not used to help autistic children but to promote political candidates that try to support autistic children -- but it's worse than that. This website gives some insight into just how large a portion of the proceeds go to fundraising:

In 2020, they spent $5227 on "campaign expenses" and $1.2 million on "fundraising."

Less than 0.5% of donations even goes to politicians!

These scammers are absolutely shameless!

I've been getting calls from a 385-323-9762 #. The "robot" sounds like a very nice lady. But if you wait for the end and ask a question, as I did. She says thank you and goodbye and the call gets disconnected. I researched for this kind of scam and ended up here.

.
I have now been contacted by, the Police Coalition PAC, the Firemen Coalition PAC, the Breast Cancer Coalition PAC and todays new one, the Autism Coalition PAC. Most of the time they do not mention they are a “Political Action Committee” and not a charity so you think you are donating to a good cause but most of the money gets funneled into Trump’s PAC. Do your due diligence and at least Google any organization asking for your money.
