Set up my electricity account, same day got a call from these scammers

Called the scammers back, thinking it was odd but knowing companies hire third parties for their call centers. Asked for my name, if there was a middle initial, my address, my email and then my card information. Thats when I hung up and contacted my rep, Blake. He said he will report this to corporate on Monday. These scammers are gross. Seriously gross.

I have a text from 26248 yesterday welcoming me to Ambit energy and today received a phone call from them 786 847-1790 and they left me a voicemail to activate my change. We have no idea what they are talking about, but sounds like a scam.

"Joe Martin" at this number called nail salon to demand immediate payment for electricity, saying that they had failed to install an updated meter. He said that cutoff of electricity would happen within 30 minutes if the payment wasn't made. He asked for payment by "moneypak"
