I had the exact same experience!
Sadly there is a Cassandra Velcheff on Facebook. I don't know if she is involved or a victim herself.
I filed an actual police report.
If this really is a real company, shame on them for not curtailing it and taking more action as this look legitimate!

I was contacted by text message from the phone number 508-927-1759 stating the following: Hello, Your resume has been sent to us @ Aegle Therapeutics, We are impressed by your background and would like to invite you for the job briefing and interview. You made it to the Next step for the position of Remote Data Entry Clerk, Are you interested in proceeding? I then replied yes. After that they informed me to: You are required to download and set up TELEGRAM on your app store (https://telegram.org?) and if you have one already use it. Add Cassandra Velcheff (https://t.me/Cassandravelcheff_aegle) and connect with her for your interview. Once you are done adding her send me a reply stating, She will be expecting to hear from you soon"Contacted" Best of luck! I then downloaded the app and went through an interview via Telegram. I started getting skeptical when they just offered me the job without any of my personal information and stated that they would be sending a check or direct deposit for all at home office equipment. I have since deleted the app to no longer have any connection with this person.
I got this email to my work protonmail
I use an alias email for monster so "employers" like these never get my real email
These offers are SCAMS
I also used Careerbuilder and I had offers saying they would pay me +$40/hr for remote work
They then tell you to download either of the following apps
Telegram, Signal, Teams, Zoom or Whatsapp
They send a fake check as you can read from this poor woman getting scammed

I used an alias for Careerbuilder and I ended up deleting the account and the email alias
my phone would get texts every day with BS job offers but I had a call/text blocker that took care of that
