I was told that i had won the stars and stripes May prize from at the warehouse and they had mailed me letters and tried to call, and i had 1 6 hours to respond before forfeiting my prize. I didn't respond as I haven't purchased or signed up with Ace Hardware and their original website says they wont contact winners in this manner.

Well, this is more like a testimony this site has helped me gain and know a lot of things, so I will use this medium to say thanks. in other words, I have similar ideas as this site and it will really be beneficial to any reading it now, and there; Tim Hortons Survey and ACE Hardware survey. once again keep up the good work up.

I keep receiving emails from someone saying you have won an craftsman generator. Confirm now. I ignore it but keep getting the emails. attached a copy of the emails.

I received an email saying I won a Milwaukee Power drill. I just needed to participate in a brief survey and pay shipping and handling. So once the question popped up to give my card info, Red flags! I then Google if this had happened to anyone else and the first story talked of the scammers trying to take 85 out of their bank account. Delete the bogus email if you get it but report the email address so these creeps can go get real jobs and stop stealing from people who are trying to earn a living respectively. Thanks !

I just received the same scam email. I actually completed the survey and then, the request for credit card info to pay for the shipping costs. This is automatically a red flag to me. My search for such scams brought me here. Thanks! Don't fall for this.

I received an email today (10/17/2022) asking me to participate in a customer satisfaction survey for ACE Hardware. It promised a "reward" of a DeWalt Drill valued at $150.00 . I clicked on the link for the survey and read that I would have to pay $5.00 for shipping to receive my "free" drill set. This seemed fair, so I participated in the brief survey and upon completion, I entered my bankcard info for the shipping charge. A confirmation page appeared for my "order": https://dwd3.harpersjasperyperming.com/thankyou
My bank immediately flagged it as fraud & contacted me. They had attempted to take $85.00 from my account. The bank declined the transaction and issued me a new card. SCAM/FRAUD email address is: [email protected] and (888) 403-3979 was included as a contact within the SCAM/FRAUD email.

Sent me an email. Opened it because it said it was from ace hardware which is where my husband shops. Did fill out anything but the access my bank account and took 99.00 out

Simple I got jacked. They even called and spoke to me but the number isn’t there. Then they tried to take 89.98 out of my account. Then the $1.95 went to Ryrhen Precious Lifting and the 89.98 they tried to take was for some fitness

This is not Ace Hardware. It started with a small questioner that you had two chances two win after the first prize I won on second try. They than asked my to pay $1.00 s/h and wanted a credit card # didn’t fall for it. Please don’t if it’s to good to be true is I now have 72hours to pay.please don’t fall for the scam. Again this is not Ace

I received a email from Ace thanking me for my patronage. I do shop there a lot.you have been selected to take this survey and for the cost of shipping and you will receive the DeWalt power station... So after I sent the information to billy debt card $1.95 cents Five minutes later they bill Ed me an additional $ 99.95... that is honestly the last of my money's till pay day next Friday no food no water no has to get.i part time work... Just verbatim as your other complaints I took the survey and for a mere $1.95 shipping fee they would be sending me the prize ... I did not know better because I shop a lot with my local Ace of the South hardware... Just as in your other complaints about 3 minutes later I was billed an additional 99.95 I instantly called my debit card co ... But they let the deal go through...By the way it was Cash app. ... I am a disabled multiple cancer survivor... They literally took my last $99 before I get paid again on the 3rd of the month there's no food milk or coffee in my house and if I get my hands around somebody's throat I'm sure I'd go to hell how dare you.. thank you Carl Copeland 2052850125

I received an email survey request from Ace Hardware, I thought. Take the survey and receive Dewalt Power Pack and only pay 1.95 shipping. I know better but still fell for it. Five min later I received a fraud alert from my bank indicating 99.95 was charged by "My perfect Savings Guru.

I got an email saying I won an Ace Dewalt Power Station. The email stated it was in "cooperation with Ace" and even showed the Ace logo however the email said it was from Ace Shipment. It gives an address in WA state. It says I won the item but would have to pay shipping after completion of a survey. Obviously I knew right away this was a SCAM and didnt click on it but wanted to report anyway. Buyer beware. Do not click on the survey. Do not give your cc info. This is a scam. I've included an image of the exact email I received so hopefully no one falls for this nonsense.

We had picked up a weedeater from our local ace hardware store yesterday that we had dropped off for repairs, later we received an email from “Ace hardware” starting that due to our recent service we had been chosen for a free Weber gas grill, we only needed to take the survey to reflect our experience at ace shopping and pay $1.95 shipping. We did this and they sent us an order number for this “free” grill. Upon going to where it said to look for order status I realized they had scanned us and had actually charged us for $1.95 contest entry order and $89.95 for some male enhancement order. I called my bank and had my card reported as stolen and then called the company with a number provided by the bank. They would have continued to take out money too as it said in the phone it was a “subscription”. One that I had NOT agreed to. I kindly informed the woman to refund my money and that I would be reporting them to the better business bureau. After much hesitation she finally agreed. Hoping this scam is shut down.

I received e mail saying I won a gas grill just complete survey . Only had to pay shipping cost to receive- Gave credit card number. as requested. I think this is a scam. Please advise thank you MURRAY RENSHAW [email protected]

Received email invitation from what it reads Ace Hardware. I hope that email was not sent by Ace. Any way
I filled out the survey.
My reward for taking the survey was going to be DeWalt cordless drill just pay for shipping. Within a few minutes I received text Fraud alert from my bank. $5.00 went through so I filled a claim. $84 97 decline by the bank due to suspicious activity.
I frequently shop at Ace Hardware. I really hope email wasn't sent out by Ace Hardware.

I received a pop up on my phone in December...I looked at it and decided to try the earbuds for 6.96 shipping, no charge. I thought this was legit because it was with a place I frequent, Ace Hardware.
I NEVER ordered a smart watch. So 2 full months later I received a call stating I owned around 300.00 for the two products.
I NEVER received an email in regards to the terms or conditions, NOR were they legible I guess basically invisible to the eye. Since it was from Ace hardware I thought they would be nice to have.
I have had 3 conversations with Hannah, who states it is in the ESCALATION process. Even at 60% discount they came down to 47.99 each or 95.95 total. This is unacceptable for something that stated free except shipping charges.
I have offered to returned the merchandise that has never been opened or used, but they refuse to even give me an address, stating I must pay in order to close the acct.

I am asking someone in customer service to please assist me, as I cannot afford to pay for something that I didn't order,, nor will I use at this point.
The products were shipped on Dec. 14, 2021 for a charge of 6.96.

Hannah also stated this will go against my credit score...I am furious.
Please help me with this matter,

The above complaint is NOT against ACE hardward, they are a reputable company.
The complaint is against HYPE company, which is a SCAM.
I trusted the offer, because I trust ACE.
