502 Maids Employment Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

- Louisville, KY, USA • Mar 15, 2025

I applied for a cleaning job for a company called “502 maids”. I found the listing on Indeed, and applied. I was contacted back told they had chose me and got started on my background and went over salary. They use “Quickbooks” a spreadsheet type of app to make it seem legit. The app is used to clock in and out when the cleaner arrives to a Customer. The person on the phone giving you instructions told me to get started and my “supervisor “ will be on site. The person was not, but upon speaking with the operator, an excuse was given and she’ll be at the next customer’s cleaning. She never appeared. I got scammed out of a weeks worth of work! They never paid me, and kept saying my check was on its way smh I’m contacting the BBB. There’s a guy named “Steve” answering the line and he’s most likely the only employee considering he’s stealing people’s money. Their address doesn’t exist, it’s listed as 325 W Main St and there’s nothing at that address but Jeff Ruby’s and Humana, I kept calling the employee line and was eventually blocked from calling. They claim the owner is a British guy named Paul Norfolk lol which he’s probably some innocent guy who doesn’t know his picture and likeness is being used for this sham business. These people go the whole nine to make it seem like it’s a legit business from the website, app, w9 forms, etc.

They also take money from a customers account before the service is even started or the maid shows up FYI and for the people that no one showed up for and they were still charged it’s probably because the maid was never paid for previous services. Don’t waste your time or money.

They’ll also tell you that they no longer accept Groupon even after you bought it months ago and it’s because Groupon figures out they were a scam
