Scam - Check the vin before you buy

Selling Vehicles on their website they do not own.

These are just some of the vins they have on their website for cars they do not own. When I called the dealership associate with this vin(Classic Luxury Motors in Georgia), they still have these vehicles and are not aware of this company. 500 down has also reused the pictures from the original dealership’s website.

Don’t believe everything you see online

So at first i was skeptical about coming to 500downnow.com because of the reviews i read online. I did my research and after realizing that these reviews aren’t from 500downnow and in fact are from other dealerships that are using 500down to slander this company. I realized that once i received their address and none were associated with their dealership. So i came in and gave them a shot being that i have bad credit and this was my last resort. I can honestly say i am so happy i did. The staff were amazing, they were able to get me into a vehicle when all other dealers denied me. Needless to say i told my friends and family and this is now our go to spot!

Awesome Company, Don't believe the lies!

Hey everyone, so one of my co workers wanted a car because her Kia was stolen and crashed. I couldn't find the number to the dealership so i decided to google the company and stumbled on this website.

Let me tell you something I've been a customer of this company since 2016. I referred my entire family to this them and every single time there was never an issue. The thing is if you want a car they will work with you. The most anyone i know has paid as a down payment was my son for $2000 and it was for a 2017 BMW which was advertised for $999 down and $999 for plate fees. I myself paid $550 down and $500 for plates for my 2018 Nissan Rogue.

Now the staff is very polite and understanding and i never feel like a customer, they offer me coffee water. One time they ordered lunch for everyone in the dealership customers included. With this being said every time I'm there with someone i referred a lot of shady costumers will come in with fake proof of income, or with food stamps as proof of income, or just no income to begin with but looking for a Mercedes.

The staff don't throw them out but actually work with them and offer a car that can work for them. There was a lady that came in with her child support as income they was giving her a car but she wanted a high end car with child support as her proof of income she made a scene and left making threats about reviews. This happens all the time they tell me! That's very sad, they even come with fake Id's trying to scam these people and when it don't work they make bad reviews.

I just can't believe how people are slandering this company when my family has been helped many times by them. They do what they say, Their cars are real! The bad reviews are prob from shady customers that couldn't get their way! I never had an issue at all. Go there and see for yourself.

SCAM AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

I went to 500down located in Irvington NJ.. they came what ever the advertised down payment is , is what you pay .. LIESSSS.. I was told I would have to put $8k with a monthly income of over $5k .. I drove from PA just to get told a bunch of lies , even though I had proof that I was told that’s all I had to put down.. if I’m putting down $8k it’s not going to be for a used car . The car I was looking at , had a flat tire, rusty rotators , a piece of the Rouen single light missing and scratch on the bumper .. and was considering filthy.. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY !

I’ve read these reviews and I’m in total shock. I paid $1500 down and was able to leave with a car. They were extremely helpful when i arrived and helped me although my financial situation isn’t the best.

I paid $900 down and my co worker paid $1000 down, but I waited 20 Minutes To Be Seen

They Do everything they say, I came in with my co worker from Binghamton New York. Our appointment was for 11Am but they were so busy we had to wait 20 minutes to be seen. I purchased a 2018 Kia Optima and my co worker purchased a 2015 Nissan rogue. I put down $400 plus there's another fee of $500 for you temporary plates. My co worker paid $1000 total, $500 down and $500 for her plates. Long story short they do what they do, Just be prepared to pay an additional fee for your plates. The cars are real and they do help you. Just be prepared to wait a little bit to be seen because they do get busy. I hope this helps anyone that's looking to do business with this company. I'm going back with my sister to buy her car as well.

NO WALK-INS..THEY ALREADY LOST

These clowns will make stuff up as they go first it's walk-ins and appointments are welcome then I'm told I have to show up for purchase within the same week of my appointment (already defeating the whole idea on walk-ins) which I feel should be mentioned on the website since it's important especially if they claim they check your credit. When I was ready to come in I contact them a day ahead and they tried to speed up my time because apparently they will be closed by 4 when the website says 10-7pm for all locations this guy wanted to have a stand off with me on the time before he sent me an address ITS A SCAM EVERY OTHER DEALER IN THE WORLD DO WALK INS IF THEY ARE LEGIT and the address would be plastered easily for anybody to find they gotta get these fake businesses off the streets.

BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!!

Called many times before coming up there to verify I’d only have to pay listed down payment regardless of credit…once driving 2hrs away I get approved with 10-12k down. Complete bs…& the cars advertised are not the same ones when you get there.

This place is complete bs. They advertise $500 and nobody gets a car with $500. I ended up paying a deposit of $3500 for a broken care. The car is kbb valued at $3000 but they sold it to me for $7000 with a finance that will end up with me paying $15000 for a broken $3000 car. I've driven from upstate, NY to Newark, NJ 5 times for them to "fix" it and it's still broken. They don't even carry the inventory that's on the website and don't honor any of those listed down payments. And the infamous Darius is a nobody. You supposedly set a sign and drive with him but he doesn't go to the Newark dealer.

I applied for a car with them and got an email saying i was pre approved for the car that i wanted or a car up to 49,000. The website also said to bring what you see for a down payment nothing more. And that the downpayments got from 300-1000.You have to make an appointment to get the address. So i did and got a confirmation. And the address and i drove from upstate ny to nj. Just to get there and find out the website was all a lie. There was no car with a down payment less then 5grand. And i could not be approved. I had to get a rental car to go out there.
