So, I applied late 2 nights ago, around 11 pm. EST. I then received an email the next day stating that I have been selected to move forward with an interview with their hiring manager. I needed to download an app called Telegram and that would give me communication with this company. I then had an hour and a half interview asking me all relevant questions for my job. Everything seemed great until I heard that the pay was 40.00 an hour. I was shocked. I looked up the US average salary and it was 40,000 for a data entry clerk. After that, I saw the contract and there was nothing alarming. It even said I can terminate whenever. I signed it and was ready to report today. I next day (today) I had a weird feeling about this company. First off, they wanted me to communicate through the app still, after employment, instead of professionally, like through email or through Zoom. I then called the phone number on the website and that checked out. After that I started looking through the websites and it turns out, the links are all on a loop. If this company was legit, they would have social media, digital footprints, or just a website for employee commications/disscussions. I then decieded to opt out of this employment. Be warned!! They highly encourage you to give them your banking infromation. Always opt for check just to be sure.
