I was searching the internet for a deal on a specific type of trail running shoe (Hoka Speedgoat). I found a deal from the website ibeekoo.com. It presented itself as a Hoka One One discount store. I ordered a pair of shoes from this seller on 11/30 for $97.99. Their website used paypal for purchase. On 12/1, I received a notification from my debit card that an additional charge had been placed on this card. Instead of $97.99 that I had authorized, I was now being charged $112.58. No explanation for the additional charge was provided. I then emailed the company asking for a receipt and tracking number for the shoes. No receipt was provided, but I did receive an email through paypal providing the tracking information. This email from paypal provided the company name (ZTHD1666) as well as the email that the company had used to communicate with paypal ([email protected]). The tracking information provided suggested that I had bought the shoes on 11/28 and that it was delivered to me on 12/1. However, nothing was delivered. I contacted USPS to get additional information on where the shoes were delivered and I was told that this was likely a scam. The item was sent to a PO Box and the item was only 4oz (not a box a shoes). I disputed this charge with paypal and my money has been refunded after the seller did not respond to paypal over this dispute.
