I found this job listing on Indeed under a Confidential Client, which is very common for my field of work. I applied for it and received a text the next day from someone named Nancy. She had put me in touch with someone named Daniel Dobson. Things were moving quickly and I did question it several times, but when you research the company, it comes off very real. There was very little I had left to be suspicious about since so much of the information they provided checked out. In the end, I was scammed out of $2500. They have supposedly "mailed me a check", but that was two weeks ago and still nothing has come in the mail.

Asked for my name, full address, phone, email, bank name. Wanted me to deposit a check which I was very suspicious of. Called the phone listed on the company website. Didn’t seem operating.

Thought it was a legitimate job offer but then I got suspicious. No socials. Only two results on Google. Tried to get more info from me. Wanted me to deposit a check.
