Called and scheduled a roof inspection. They never showed. I get a hit today that someone is trying to access my personal information.

Same caller, called me from 573-447-2157. Said he worked for Zero Overlook out of Columbia, Mo. He wanted to do a free roof inspection, since he would be in my neighborhood, asked was tomorrow morning ok?

I immediately asked the name of his company, their phone no, his name, and the company website. He said he was Brian (Bryan ?) White. Company website was zerodamages.com. Their number was 660-375-0019. I said, "Ok, I have your company, and-" He hung up on me. None of this is accurate, based on online search.

I got a call on my cell phone by a person named "Brian" working for Zero overlook roofing. Said they were doing free roof inspections and would be in our area North Carolina on Mar 18, 2021 @ 9 AM or 3 or 4 PM. He asked lots of questions which I did not answer. Wanted to know name of my insurance company, my name, what kind of roof we had, how old was the roof. He wanted my email, but I told him I would not give him any info until I saw him the next day. Feeling uncomfortable with the call, we tried to call him back to cancel the appointment (we settled on 9AM Mar 18. So of course, the number was listed as disconnected with some weird sounds....So I am lucky cause I realized they had a bogus number. If he (or they show up) I am going to tell him I have proof he is a scammer. He will not climb my roof and I will tell him I have warned my neighbors.
