I was contacted by Zenith Healthcare LTD first via text message, then via Google Hangout. They found my resume on Employ Florida website (this is how they got my cell number). Supposedly they were interviewing for a job. Many red flags -- asked age, sex in interview; no clear description of job or job duties; employment was from home. Many of the questions followed the same format as a legitimate interview, however, little information about the position was given. I was told they would FedEx me a check that I was to deposit (via ATM or mobile deposit) into my account and then they would release the funds. I was to take $100 from the check for a signing bonus then use the rest to purchase a computer from their "preferred vendor" which they would tell me about later. I was to contact them the next day at 8 am, but no contact information was given. Via their website, the "company" is a pharmaceutical distribution company in India. The interviewer told me they had locations in New York, USA and Chile, but there is no information on the website about these locations. Very little information about this company is available on the website. I did not pursue, and will not accept anything from them, but wanted others to be aware of this potential scam.
