I am not 25. I called the hotel after I had booked and verified this information after discovering it on google reviews. They confirmed I woudl'nt even be able to check in. I immediately got in contact with ZenHotels support to cancel the booking and receive a refund.
Hotel and I over the next few days became weary of ZenHotels as they were giving different information every time we communicated about my reservation and they failed to forward documents or emails to the hotel who needed them in order to cancel my booking.
Finally the hotel gave up working with them and refunded the money. That money is then Zenhotels' to refund back to me.
They have not. They stated Gartour - supposedly the partner they work with that I booked through- refused the refund request.
After days of Zen Hotels trying to get even a single email from Gartour about why they're holding on to the money despite meeting all requirements to issue the refund, Zen Hotels has nothing to say but they will keep trying to reach them and for me to wait.
I asked this agency what would they do if Gartour acts in a fraudulent manner and they've ignored me. They tell me to wait and nothing else.
I did not stay at the hotel. The hotel issues a refund. I verified with photo I.D that I was not able to check in at the age restricted hotel. ZenHotels failed to provide these requirements before accepting my payment. Gartour is ignoring any emails or communication from ZenHotels and ZenHotels has expressed they will do nothing if Gartour (their partner in business) scams me.
They are charging me for a service I was not able to even use if I had wanted to. They are purposefully ignoring my requests for my money back.
