Today I was contacted by YP ONLINE “Business search online” saying that there was a balanced of $995 and could be settled for $500 if paid now. I asked to be sent a copy through fax of bill and I received some invoice that did not look legit. After doing my research online and on BBB I realized that sooo many other people had been called with similar situations. I called the number back and spoke to a Mike Sparks 631-492-1460 ex100 and asked if i could speak to supervisor and he claimed he was supervisor and that there wasnt any one else but him I continued to push the situation and asking questions and he became very rude and irritated. I explained to him that I knew this was fraud and scam that I reported to BBB and FTC website and he continued to talk over me and said ” I will be reporting this to a 3rd party” and hung up the phone. WOW! scary thing to think that there is sooo many people being taken advantage of that own small businesses. Im glad I was smarter than them!
