I went to use yourcarepacks to send a care package to a loved one incarcinated. The first time I spent well over a couple hundred dollars. The system they said had a glitch and it took weeks to even get a refund. When it glitched I still thought nothing of it so I reordered. (This happened early November last year) I didn’t have enough money in my account since the refund hadn’t come in yet so the man said to call my bank and get a provisional credit. He seemed helpful so I did so I could re order. The package made to facility and was refused as they don’t accept packages. How does a company that specializes in that not know what facilities accept and do not? I called and told them the situation. Then they would not refund period since package went out. They didn’t answer any calls or emails on my behalf after that call informing them. The facility sent the package back to them and they called mid of December saying they HAD to partially refund me as the package went back to their facility. I gave them my card info again for the refund. Knowing it takes quit some time for the refund I was starting to be annoyed and felt taken advantage of. From that phone call I haven’t heard since. It is now mid Jan of the next year. I’ve called daily, emailed. I’ve got nothing from them in anyway. Not even notified on progress. Now their phones are cut off and website isnt even up. I believe this company preys on vulnerable people that don’t know how these systems work and should deal with consequences of their actions. It’s simply not right. I know the amount taken from me seems small to some but it’s not to a lot. Especially if this situation has happened to many others. It very much adds up. They need to seriously be looked into. Their business, sales, taxes, scams, location and people involved.
