I was contacted by phone on Monday 1/15/18 it was MLK day so I thought it strange to get the call. A woman (no accent) was on the phone stating that my Google and Yellow pages listing through YBO was up for renewal and they showed that my account was paid through 2018 but was set to enter the 2018 billing cycle for 2019 etc. etc. She talked very fast. I knew that, A. I had not paid some $1900.00 for advertising in 2016 like the woman claimed on the phone and B. I have never signed a contract with this company. Plus my business was desolved in 2016. I told her over and over that I did not know what she was talking about and that I never signed a contract with there company nor have I received any billing from them (Email or snail mail). So I requested her to send me a statement and a copy of any contracts they have on file. I received a statement copy through Email for an amount due of a little over $2000.00 due to a late fee (?) that was never mentioned on the phone, and they're supposed to be mailing hard copies of the statement and contract. I guarantee I did not sign any contracts with " Your business online". In fact My Google listing was a free service through my web site and I never had a Yellow pages ad, and when I checked my ex-business was not listed in the Yellow pages or YP.com. The woman was insistent that I contact their billing dept and make the payment before Friday. I have been contacted everyday since by the same woman from the same phone number. After reading their BBB rating I'm sure they're trying to scam me. I don't want to contact them again in case they're recording me and then piece together a statement that I never made, which they probably already have done.

Received a call saying we owed for business advertising. Googling their address leads to a bus stop in New Jersey. Their webpage looks slick at first glance but a few clicks in and you realize that it is just a front full of stock photos and no info.

Caller stated I am past-due on my business's Internet Yellow Pages ad that I supposedly canceled in January. He said I owe $1400, but if I pay today it will be much lower. I told him I never subscribed to that service, and I would like proof of such commitment by him supplying me with an invoice. He sent a very sketchy invoice to me via e-mail today, which basically said nothing. No terms and conditions, amount of pmts. due, etc. I called the ScamPulse.com b/c I am an accredited member, and was told this is a ploy used by various impostors who use the "fingers do the walking" logo.
