First let me mention, I did a little research on the internet by a Google search of "YP reviews" and I found an overwhelming majority of small businesses with complaints similar to mine, such as False Advertizing, Bait and Switch, Automatic Renewal of Annual Contract without Mentioning It in the Original Verbal Contract, That being said, I wish I had read the reviews about YP before I got tricked into signing a verbal contract with them for a year" To get to the point, I am the owner/operator of a small window cleaning business, which is seasonal, and little or no profit, and I have never gotten up to poverty level in the 35 years I have been running my business! I was getting a few jobs from my Google My Business page, but it disappeared, and I couldn't find out what happened to it, or how to get it back up on Google search! I was getting desperate, and this one person, who I can't get ahold of any more, and is supposedly the only one who can cancel my contract, who when they called me, promised to get my website to the top of Google, and they really sweet-talked me and acted like they cared about me, and promised that they could really help me out, and said they would send me and email twice, which never happened, and when I called back, I just kept getting another person, who said I had to call back and talk to the person who signed me up and disappeared, which is basically the run-around and gave me a headache, so that was when I did a Google search of YP reviews, which put me into a traumatic shock of how awful the company has become! On further research on the internet I found that YP had been acquired by Dex Media, that has been through several bankruptcies and my opinion is that YP is coasting on it's previous reputation as the Yellow Pages which have fallen into disuse because most people just do a Google search for services, any more, by YP has become predatory due to being bankrupt, and is using underhanded predatory tactics, which is all over the Internet, and I don't understand why a class action lawsuit hasn't been leveled against them already, or the authorities haven't shut them down for fraud!
