I was contacted by text message by an "employer", they said that I had applied to their job listing on indeed.com and they were following up. At first I went back to check my indeed job applications and I saw nothing but I thought i had just deleted it. They did a phone call interview where they just told me to open a POS terminal and then contact them again. They told me to tell the bank that I'm a gardener even though I would be processing transactions from their website through my terminal. I thought this was weird so when I opened my POS Terminal I was describing the situation to the bank but they didn't say anything was off so I proceeded. After about 2 days of transactions, where I entered card information sent to me, they asked me to wire them money through an online website rather than going to the bank. Because the bank didn't say anything was off all the times I called them I went through with it. Half way through the transfer I decided to pull back and then they suddenly disappeared and stopped responding. The money was already delivered to them and there was no way to get it back. Paying pack the chargebacks plus fees and collections because my bank immediately siezed my account was very tough.
