Yellow Star Investment Group Reports & Reviews (2)

I was contacted by Charlie White (Senior Manager) of Yellow Star Investment Group, they deal with cryptocurrency. She wanted to recruit me as a Personal Assistant, all the documents she sent and their website (https://yellowstarinc.com/) seemed pretty legit for a startup and an important red flag - I never applied for the job instead they reached out to me. I initially ignored the red flags because we are just starting to adapt the cryptocurrency world, I had similar work experience and having Canada very recently opening up to bitcoin ETF's I thought maybe this firm/start up just wants to jump on that ship real quick which I do too. Their Job Description, Application Form and employment contract seems just like one from a legit, well established company but too good to be true for a start up who has no information on the internet. Basically they wanted me to send my direct deposit information and somehow scam me out of my money because when I looked up their California (Ph. +1 308 300 7978;

2545 W. 237th Street Torrance, CA 90505 USA) address on Google street view I found myself at a business park's parking lot and the first thing that made me click was Charlie saying they were in the process of opening up an office in Winnipeg but on their website they conveniently missed out on a suite number for the Winnipeg address (Ph. +1 204 272 0383;

201 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0B9 Canada). Then on their website the Privacy and Policy button can't be clicked which always means something is wrong! I am glad I took my time to research.

I got a random email offering me the position of Personal Assistant to a investment group, me being a naive teenager who only really cared about how much money I'd be making, "took" the job, the first day was ok, not realizing they were taking money out of my bank under the name of Apple, then the second day of "work" they wanted me to go to a sketchy corner shop to get $3000 worth of bitcoin, but I needed to only have cash, this raised a red flag to me, I questioned them a lot and stated "I don't feel safe doing it", then she kept trying to pressure me into doing it, so then I called my bank they asked what info I gave them, they said that since I gave that info, they are likely trying to commit identity theft, I did some more digging and the company doesn't exist, i did more digging on the website and found when the website was made, and who made it, the "chairman" didn't exist.
