Received a fax from "YELLOW PAGES INC." Bulfaria Varna, Vinitsa 9022 PO Box 4 requesting payment due for Facebook and Twitter Features $496.95. Their phone # 888-586-1999, fax # 888-429-1666. Reminder to include international postage!!

We are a business. We received a phony invoice using the YP name and walking fingers logo for $496.95 for a Facebook and Twitter features." The company is using the name "Yellow Pages Inc" with an address in BULGARIA! We did not pay it. Instead, we turned it over to the BBB.

Claimed to be Yellow Pages Inc, but location was Singnapore. Said we owed $494.96 and it was a collection warning. Called the number listed and it said customer service wasn't available and to leave a voicemail...that was a red flag. Then called again and the number was no longer in service. Knew it was a scam, needed to confirm for my boss so I called Yellow Pages and gave her the customer ID. It started with the 24 like it should, but only had 6 numbers where as it should have at least 9. Customer service with real yellow pages also confirmed they did not have a location in Singnapore.

Official-looking invoice with several "collection warnings" (to protect your credit score pay immediately, etc) for a 1 year directory listing for the Yellow Pages. Asks for payment or "file will be sent for collection!!!" This is not the actual Yellow Pages; it is a predatory company.

The statement looks very intimidating. Has Collection Warning and Payable Immediately.

Received an invoice via fax on 02/18/2016 from Yellow Pages Inc. Address: Bulgaria; 9154 Aksakovo; P.O. Box 5. Supposedly we purchased a listing with them. Invoice is for $484.95. I did not approve this purchase. We do receive calls verifying our phone numbers and probably received one from them. I have not paid this invoice but am anticipating calls from them.

Phone calls disguised as informing of "past due" invoice # whatever, they have recorded authorization, blah, blah, blah. I just say "no you don't" and hang up.

Following that, a faxed "collection warning" for said listing (never contracted, of course). This bears an actual company logo, but with an address in Bulgaria!
